Moveris, Inc., a leader in psychophysiology-based human liveness verification technology, today announced the appointment of Magnus Stjernstrom as Chief Technology Officer. Stjernstrom brings extensive cybersecurity expertise and a proven track record of scaling startups from founding through successful exits.
As CTO, Stjernstrom will lead Moveris's technical strategy and product development as the company scales its innovative deepfake detection technology that analyzes involuntary biological signals to verify human authenticity in real-time.
"Magnus's deep cybersecurity background and experience building companies from the ground up make him the ideal leader to guide our technical vision," said Justin Keene, CEO and Co-founder of Moveris. "His expertise in taking startups through their full lifecycle—from founding to exit—is invaluable as we scale our technology to meet growing market demand for robust anti-deepfake solutions."
Stjernstrom's career spans multiple successful ventures in the cybersecurity and technology sectors, where he has demonstrated expertise in building secure, scalable systems and leading technical teams through periods of rapid growth. His experience encompasses co-founding IDology Inc., a pioneering identity verification company later acquired by GBG, as well as leadership roles at McAfee, Dell, and Blue Yonder.
"The threat of AI-generated deepfakes represents one of the most significant cybersecurity challenges of our time," said Stjernstrom. "Moveris's unique approach—detecting human liveness through psychophysiological signals rather than traditional facial recognition—is the most promising solution I've seen to this problem. I'm excited to join Justin and the team at this pivotal moment in the company's growth."
Stjernstrom's appointment comes as Moveris expands its team and product offerings to meet the growing reality of deepfake fraud across multiple sectors. If you or your business wants to protect against deepfakes and synthetic identity fraud, contact us!
